There is a rich history shared between Tiffany & Co. and Patek Philippe, and nearly five years ago Patek Philippe opened their first US boutique in the iconic Tiffany & Co. flagship on New York's Fifth Avenue. To celebrate the five year anniversary of this opening, the duo have released a special edition annual calendar, and here we have your first look at this amazing watch.
These two companies have been working together for the better part of two centuries, with a formal connection going back to 1851 with the founders of both firms agreeing to work together to promote excellence in their respective fields. You may have even seen so-called Tiffany Dial Patek Philippe replica watches before, like this 1436 Split-Seconds Chronograph, but they have not been made for quite some time.
In 2008, Patek Philippe opened the 3,000-square-foot boutique on the second floor of Tiffany & Co.'s Fifth Avenue flagship store, Patek's first boutique in the United States. In addition to selling a full range of current collection Patek Philippe watches, the boutique always has a few pieces on hand from the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva to give clients a closer look at the brand's illustrious past.
And to celebrate the fifth anniversary of their first US venture, Patek Philippe has created the Ref. 5369G exclusively for Tiffany & Co. The 5369G is elegantly rendered in 18k white gold with a black dial, which is double-signed Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. The day, date, and month are all displayed in apertures, and at 6 o'clock is a moonphase indicator in the center of a 24-hour register. Presented on a black fake Rolex Cocktail alligator strap, the 5369G has a sapphire case back and special engraving that reads "Patek Philippe ?A Shared Vision ?2008-2013 ?Tiffany & Co."
To compliment this very special piece, Patek Philippe has also released two special edition versions of the Gondolo Ref. 4987G for ladies. Also double-signed, the 4987G is available with either matte blue sunburst dial or white mother-of-pearl dial, both with 164 brilliant-cut diamonds and satin straps.
